Heads/ Four Wheels (and a spare one)

In 2008, Pirelli set up an exhibition (Un viaggio, ma... Immaginario del Cinturato tra Storia e Futuro) to celebrate the return of the legendary “Cinturato” – “the tyre with a safety belt inside”, as the old slogan said: the event ran for one month at the Triennale di Milano.

Alongside classic posters by Noorda, Tovaglia and Mulaa, road-travel-inspired works by fifteen contemporary creatives were selected. Among these artworks, Heads also introduced its project called Four Wheels (and a spare one): a series of posters and a text about the “melancholy of the tyre”.
