Spot of Red is a project financed by the European Social Fund and promoted by Avis Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Friuli Venezia Giulia: the task was about creating a video contest to promote the blood donation through the coproduction of content aimed at the target audience of the awareness-raising campaign.
There were two video categories: TV adverts, open to aspiring filmmakers in collaboration with the creative platform Zooppa, and viral videos, shared through YouTube and the website spot-of-red.it.
The twenty most interesting videos were selected by a jury headed by Olivero Toscani and were shown during the closing event in Palazzo Grassi in Venice as part of Curcuito Off, a collateral event during the Venice Film Festival.
