Heads has collaborated with Regione Veneto on several social communication projects financed by the European Social Fund, responding to EU directives and applying them to the specific needs of the region’s social fabric.
In 2015, Heads developed Noise – Network delle Opportunità Informative e dei Servizi rivolti ai Cittadini Extracomunitari, following a new European Integration Fund project and in collaboration with Fondazione Leone Moressa and Associazione XYZ.
The project sought to promote the integration of foreign citizens, encouraging them to participate in social life and favouring intercultural dialogue also through word of mouth. The heart of the project was the website progettonoise.org: reversing the usual communication dynamic between Italians and foreigners, it gave a voice to immigrant citizens through photos, video reportage and participatory Open Space Technology forums.
The website content, produced in collaboration with immigrants, was finally collected in a tabloid-format magazine and distributed to the citizens.
